Product Description

The DM N56-1 VOR antenna is designed for operation on the Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft to provide integral VHF navigation systems performance. The N56-1 antenna free-standing, balanced loop array is mounting on the tip of a vertical stabilizer and covered with a structural fiberglass housing forming the fin tip. This design allows for a lightweight and efficiency within the space available. The electrical design allows for dual receiver operation and assures CAT III preference. The omni-directional radiation patterns in the horizontal plane assures suffianent signal levels that required for R-NAV systems use.
